As reviewers, we are acutely aware of “adult awards season”. This is the starting of that season. It is when every studio, large or small starts pumping out their best films and scenes of the year. XCritic team members start reviewing their notes from the last year to see what stood out to us over the last 10 months or so and making new notes on the new arrivals. It’s also a time of the year that one browser tab is always open so we can quickly reference the facts from the last year. Who did who and for what studio? Does a stud or starlet qualify as “new”?
