A decade ago, the world of porn worked very differently than it does today. There were still plenty of girls that were “contract girls, which meant they shot exclusively for one studio and were paid handsomely. For the fans, even things like downloading a high-res pin-up image was a tedious process, to say the least, never mind accessing a 4K video from pretty much any device in your arsenal. Social media exploded and the landscape was changed forever. Of course, the porn industry was one of the early adopters of that technology, much like it had done with VHS/DVD/Blu-Ray (go ahead, look those terms up, we’ll wait) in the years before.
